The owner of a "noisy" Mediterranean restaurant in Elmers End has been prosecuted.
Sandis Adamovics, owner of Fethr on Croydon Road, pleaded guilty to six offences and was order to pay fines and costs totalling £3,537.27 at Bromley Magistrates' Court.
The court heard that the Council had received complaints from residents since November 2017 in relation to loud, amplified music coming from the premises.
Following advice and numerous warnings, a noise abatement notice was issued requiring the restaurant to reduce the volume and bass of the music, however the nuisance continued.
Adamovics was then prosecuted under Section 80 (4) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
