Police have made an arrest after group of four men attempted to mug a lone woman in Greenhithe.
The 19-year-old was arrested this morning, and currently remains in custody as enquiries continue.
It was reported that the victim was approached by four men on London Road at around 7pm yesterday.
A demand was made for the woman’s bankcard and phone as one of the suspects grabbed her coat hood, however a member of the public intervened.
The men left empty-handed.
Officers would like to speak to anyone with information regarding the attempted robbery, in particular they would like to speak to the person who intervened to assist the victim.
