Students made a tremendous 1216 cards to distribute across hospitals, churches and hospices over the Christmas period.
The pupils were given a brief as part of an in-house competition to design and write Christmas cards for someone in need.
Jamina, a year 10 student, made over 350 cards herself, with the help of her form group who wrote out messages for the recipients.
Headteacher of the school, Sharon Pritchard, sent out a letter addressed to 'members of the local community' in a mission to spread some joy within the local community.'
The cards were distributed to Age UK Meadowside Day Centre in Dartford, Dartford Almshouses, Darent Valley Hospital, Newham Hospital, St Giles Church in Farnborough, Christ Church in Dartford, Holy Trinity Church in Dartford and Ellenor Hospice in Dartford.
Darent Valley Hospital was amongst those to thank students at the school, who handed them across wards βto those who have few or no visitors.β
The girls succeeded in their mission of bringing joy across the community and were overwhelmed with the response.
