Train services on the Greenwich and Woolwich lines are being delayed by an emergency services incident this morning after reports of aggressive behaviour.

Police are on site at Woolwich Arsenal station dealing with the incident, and the British Transport Police said that there were reports of two women behaving aggressively on a train.

Southeastern Railway have warned that services have been cancelled and may be revised or continue to be cancelled whilst police deal with the incident.

The railway operator said trains on the Greenwich and Woolwich lines heading away from London will hopefully be back on the move shortly after police had apprehended one person.

A spokesperson from the BTP said: "Officers were called to Woolwich Arsenal station at 10.50am this morning following reports of two women behaving aggressively on a train.

"No victims came forward at the time to make a complaint, however the women were spoken to and their details taken."
