Conservative David Evennett has been re-elected as MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford after winning the seat with 59.8 per cent of the votes and a majority of 13,103.

It was declared early on Friday morning that Evennett will return as Conservative MP for the constituency after he received 25,856 votes.

Labour candidate, Anna Day, came in at second place on election night, receiving 12,753 votes.

She was followed by Liberal Democrat David Mcbride, in third place with 2,819 votes, and Tony Ball of the Green Party in fourth with 1,298 votes.

The English Democrats Party candidate, Graham Moore, won 520 votes.

Turnout was 66.1 per cent.
