Two Orpington teens have been charged with violent disorder following the serious assault of a boy in Canterbury city centre.
Officers were called to Rose Lane on the evening on June 6, to reports that a teenage boy had been beaten. He was rushed to hospital, suffering serious injuries.
A 16-year-old and 17-year-old from Orpington have been charged with GBH with intent and violent disorder, along with eight others, the oldest an 18-year-old from Margate named George Potter.
They have all been bailed to appear at Margate Magistrates Court on 16 January 2020.
A 44-year old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released without charge.
