Four arrests have been made following a disruption operation last night.

Greenwich Police, in conjunction with British Transport Police, carried out the joint operation at Woolwich Arsenal Station.

"The operation was supported by our officers on street duties, the boroughs trainee detective constables and from the special constabulary," Greenwich Police said.

"Four people were arrested as result of stops made by officers at the station."

Those arrests included:

  • An adult man for illegal entry to the United Kingdom
  • An adult man for possession with intent to supply drugs
  • Two juvenile boys for possession with intent to supply drugs

All four individuals are currently in custody at south east London police stations.
