At least 25 Firefighters successfully managed to put out a fire at a flat in Penge.
Fire crews from Beckenham, Forest Hill, Bromley and West Norwood attended the scene in Howard Road at around 11:46am on November 27, and managed to bring the blaze under control within an hour.
A statement from London Fire Brigade said: "Part of the bedroom on the first floor was damaged by the fire.
"Half of the flat was also damaged by smoke.
"The Brigade was called at 11:46am and the fire was under control by 12:43pm.
"Fire crews from Beckenham, Forest Hill, Bromley and West Norwood fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage."
