Firefighters rescued members of the public from a Ferris wheel after it got stuck at a Christmas market on the High Street in Bromley.
The incident happened on November 17, at around 4:25pm and took fire crew services around 50 minutes to resolve.
Paul Osborne - a Station Commander, who was at the scene, said:“Crews worked hard and quickly to manually rotate the Ferris wheel and assist members of the public to safety.
“We were able to get everyone off safely and there were no reports of any injuries.”
Around ten adults and 16 children were saved and had to be given precautionary checks at the scene by teams from the London Ambulance Service.
According to reports a drive cable on the wheel had snapped which made the wheel inoperable.
Fire crews manually rotated the wheel and worked to get the passengers off the cabs one at a time.
Two fire engines from Bromley Fire Station and a fire rescue unit from Croydon Fire Station were at the scene.
