Trains running through Lewisham are set to be delayed throughout the day due to signalling issues.

A signalling problem occurred at Lewisham yesterday, affecting trains towards London Charing Cross and London Victoria.

Specialist teams from Network Rail have been testing the affected signals & cables throughout the night, but further testing is still needed which will be done overnight tonight as it cannot be done while trains are running.

Lines are open, but trains will have to pass over the affected line slower than normal.

During the rush hour, fewer trains are able to run through the area as it will cause to significant delays to other trains so some London Charing Cross services will not be able to call at Lewisham.

After the rush hour, trains will be able to run normally, but may be slightly delayed when leaving Lewisham towards London Charing Cross and London Victoria.

If your train no longer calls at Lewisham, you may need to change at Hither Green or London Bridge for alternative trains to Lewisham.
