Lionel Richie and Rick Astley have confirmed they will be returning to the Hampton Court Palace Festival that will take place in June 2020.

Both the Historic Royal Palaces and IMG confirmed that the international superstar and soul-pop phenomenon will perform in the Base Court, within the palace.

Mr Richie will headline the event on June 11 and June 16, while Mr Astley will headline on June 5.

Both acts have had major success in their careers - Mr Richie's shows are famously known for their party-like atmosphere as fans get to listen to classics like 'Lady,' 'Dancing on the Ceiling,' 'Hello,' and 'All Night Long.'

Mr Astley's careers spans over four decades and includes hit singles like 'Never Going to Give You Up,' 'Together Forever,' and 'Whenever You Need Somebody.'

The Hampton Court Palace Festival is now in its 28th year and consists of truly unique open-air concerts where artists perform to a 3,000-seat auditorium in the Base Court which is also the backdrop of Henry VIII's Tudor Palace.
