England footballer Jordon Ibe is to appear in court later this month charged with crashing a Bentley into a Bromley cafe and fleeing the scene.
The 23-year-old Bournemouth winger is accused of ploughing his £160,000 4x4 into The Pantry, on Plastow Lane, at 4am on July 30.
He allegedly failed to stop his Bentley Bantayga, also damaging another vehicle.
The £38,000-a-week player is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on November 27 charged with the two driving offences.
He is yet to make an appearance for the Cherries so far this season, having signed for £15 million in 2016.
Scotland Yard confirmed a “man in his 20s” was being quizzed by police in relation to the incident.
A statement released by the force at the time said a car drove away from the scene after crashing into The Pantry at around 4am.
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for a statement.
