An Orpington drug dealer who hid 27 wraps of cocaine inside a fag-packet has been jailed for three years.
Alfred Qinami, 23, was stopped in his BMW on September 26 by officers patrolling St John's Road, Tunbridge Wells, after they became suspicious.
Searching the vehicle, they found the cocaine, as well as £300 and two mobile phones containing text messages arranging drug deals.
He was arrested and later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
Appearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday November 1, Qinami, of Broomhill Road, Orpington, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years in prison.
Chief Inspector Peter Steenhuis said: "This drug dealer is not a local man and came to the attention of my proactive officers as he arrived in the town.
"I am confident the local policing team can spot the suspicious activities of cocaine dealers and arrests will be made at the earliest opportunity.
"This will send another firm message to those who seek to deal Class A drugs. It’s not a case of if they will be brought to justice, but when."
