Three men were arrested after a crash in Plumstead on Thursday (October 31), police have said.
A parked vehicle was crashed into on Rochdale Road in Plumstead and a police chase followed, a police spokesperson confirmed on Friday evening.
Three teenage men were detained after the chase, and released on suspicion of a variety of offences.
Responding to a request from News Shopper about the incident, a spokesperson for the Met Police said:
"Following a short pursuit, officers arrested three males after the Vauxhall Astra car they were travelling in collided with a wall and parked vehicle in Rochdale Road, SE2, shortly after 23.40hrs on Thursday, 31 October.
"An 18-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle theft, no insurance, driving otherwise than accordance with a license and failing to stop for police.
"A 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of allowing to be carried in a stolen vehicle.
The spokesperson added that all three men had since been "released under investigation".
