A shaken mother wants to warn other parents after her son was robbed in Sidcup.

The woman who wished to remain anonymous for the safety of her son told News Shopper of the ordeal.

On October 18, her son was on his way to school when he was approached by three boys near McDonald's.

They told the 14-year-old that they wanted his AirPods and that if he didn't hand them over they would 'shank' him.

The mother told News Shopper: "At first my boy told them no, he said that I had worked hard to buy them.

"But I have always taught my boys that if someone mugs you, you let them take what they want to save you from getting hurt."

This isn't the first time the family has been approached.

A couple of years ago, the woman's other son was stabbed in the back by a teenager in Erith.

She said: "I want to warn other parents but also appeal for anyone that knows these boys.

"Apparently a man was recording the boys as they ran away and I'd like to get in touch."
