An 18-year-old has been charged with the attempted knife-point robbery of a taxi driver in Dartford.

Alex Griffith, of Pacific Close, was arrested on Friday 18 October, the same day as the incident.

Police were called to Ingress Gardens, where a taxi driver had allegedly been threatened with a knife and some of the vehicles of their vehicle had reportedly been smashed.

A suspected robber has been charged with being in possession of a knife, attempted robbery and criminal damage following an incident in Dartford.

Griffith was remanded to in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates Court the next day and charged with being in possession of a knife, attempted robbery and criminal damage.

Following the hearing, he was released on bail to appear at Woolwich Crown Court at a date to be confirmed.
