Essex police believe a man suspected of involvement in a security van robbery in which a guard's jaw was broken with a hammer may be in Lewisham.

The incident took place on Bank Street in Braintree at around 4.30am on September 27 2018.

Two guards were approached by a group of men while delivering cash to a bank when they were attacked, the thieves making off with a three figure sum.

Poluce want to speak to 22 year-old Caine Campbell about the incident.

He is described as black, around 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with short black hair.

He has links Lewisham, Greenwich, Eastbourne and Sussex
