A baby died earlier this week in Sutton. Police were called at 10.51am on Wednesday, October 9 to the High Street near Sutton station.
London Ambulance Service and police attended and found a baby in cardiac arrest.
The baby was taken to a south London hospital as a priority but was pronounced dead at 11.48am.
A post-mortem will be arranged in due course.
The family are aware.
The death is being treated as unexplained but police have said it has not been declared suspicious.
