A Bromley entrepreneur could be crowned one of the UK's best business women for her work transforming enterprise in the borough.

Alison Warner, a former troubleshooter for Starbucks and Pizza hut, founded Evolve and Grow coaching company in 2010 and has used her experience to boost hundreds of businesses across Bromley and Kent.

Dubbed ‘The Trades’ Coach’, Alison is renowned for her work advising trades and construction companies on how to increase sales and revenue.

She is in the running at this year's Best Business Women Awards, which celebrates female entrepreneurs across the country.

Alison Warner said: “To receive this accolade among such talented competition is a true honour.

"The greatest reward is being able to see the difference in business owners and the improvement our support makes, not only to their profitability, but to their lifestyle and wellbeing.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my career.”

A panel of business experts from banking, finance, law, business consultants and business experts scrutinises entries across 17 categories, awarding winners in a ceremony on Friday October 11 at the Tower Hotel.

Jacques Pretorius, from local company JP Air Conditioning, said: “Meeting Alison from Evolve and Grow made me realise how much I needed to know about my own business.

"After my first year of coaching we had tripled our turnover enabling us to invest more in the infrastructure of the business to set us up for further success.

"I would highly recommend Evolve and Grow to any business owner in the trade sector who is looking to improve.”
