Two people have been arrested after leading police on a chase through Sidcup.
A member of the public was driving along Sherwood Park Avenue on Saturday afternoon when he spotted a Range Rover in front of him.
He recognised the car as he had seen it on Facebook the day before and realised it had been stolen.
He dialled 999 and the SE Response Team attended and approached the stolen vehicle from behind.
It was at this point that the police car was rammed into by the Range Rover.
The response unit then continued to pursue the vehicle down Blackfen Road. The car then went into Norfolk Crescent and the occupants fled the vehicle.
A police helicopter was then on scene and one officer detained both suspects in a garden, before arresting the pair.
