Violence against emergency workers will not be tolerated, police have warned after a vicious attack on officers.

A boy, 15, was arrested on Sunday (September 8) for shoplifting offences before he reportedly launched a disgusting attack on officers.

"The male made the decision to kick at and spit at all three officers," police in Petts Wood reported.

Cray Valley West tweeted more information and said the three police officers were thankfully fine despite the vile assault.

"Not only did kick at officers, he spat at one officer in the face, headbutted and bit another officer," the police account wrote.

"The 15-year-old boy is being dealt with currently in custody. Violence against any emergency worker will not be tolerated."

News Shopper has contacted police in Bromley for more information.
