Police investigating a robbery at a gambling arcade have released a CCTV still of a man they want to trace.

The suspect entered the arcade in Upper Wickham Lane in Welling on the morning of July 31.

At around 10am, after spending around half an hour on a gambling machine, he approached and grabbed the woman working at the shop from behind and pulled a knife on her, demanding that she open the safe in the back office.

She complied, and he made off around £2,000 in cash. It is believed that he left the scene in a maroon-coloured Mercedes car.

The man being sought by police is described as a white male believed to be in his late 30s, and of slim build.

He was wearing a green hoodie, black jeans and dark trainers. He spoke in broken English, and may be eastern European.
