The Rocky Horror show is coming to Dartford as part of the production’s UK tour.

More than 100,000 have already seen the Rock ‘N’ Roll musical which features Strictly Come Dancing star Joanne Clifton.

Joanne will play in the musical extravaganza for a further six months.

“I absolutely love playing Janet, so I’m delighted to continue with the show throughout the year,” she said.

The Rocky Horror Show tells the story of Brad and his fiancée Janet, two squeaky clean college kids who meet Dr Frank’n’Furter by chance when their car breaks down outside his house whilst on their way to visit their favourite college professor.

Actor Philip Franks said: “I can absolutely guarantee you will come out of The Rocky Horror Show feeling 100 times better than when you went in.

"The dancing and singing is fabulous and there is such a goodwill about the show. It’s a lot of fun to perform.”

The show will be performed in The Orchard Theatre, Dartford, from September 23 to 28.

The musical has been performed for 45 years in more than 30 countries and has been translated into over 20 languages.

Big names from Russel Crowe to Jerry Springer have starred in the show since its inception in 1973.
