THE winners of this year’s best kept garden award at Rhayader are Tony and Margaret Jones of Cae Glas.
The annual competition organised by Rhayader Town Council, was judged by Dave Holt of Midway Nurseries at Penybont who paid tribute to Tony an Margaret for the work they had done.
Mr Holt accompanied by town councillor Veronica Jones-Davies.
The couple said they started getting the garden organised nearly 20 years ago, with the work and ideas mainly done by Margaret, with husband Tony saying he only normally cuts the grass and keep the lawns in shape.
Tony and Margaret are seen being presented with the trophy by the Mayor Cllr James Stuart accompanied by the town clerk Julie Davies.
