Police were called to a busy road in Lewisham last night after a man threatened to jump from a building.
Officers were called at 6pm to Molesworth Street following concerns for the welfare of a man of top of a building threatening to jump.
Met police were able to negotiate with the man who eventually came down safely at around 9pm.
The busy road near Lewisham station was closed in both directions and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
London Fire Brigade were also on the scene.
