Commuters travelling on the Southern service between West Croydon and Sutton are being warned to expect disruption to their service after a train broke down at Wallington Station.

The 3:30pm London Victoria service was found to have a technical fault at Wallington station which has resulted in the train being unable to move.

Operators have warned that trains will be delayed, cancelled and diverted via Mitcham Junction until 07:00pm.

All services that run along this route will terminate at Selhurst including London Victoria, Sutton and Epsom Downs.

Services between London Bridge and Epsom have been cancelled and trains are not stopping at Carshalton Beeches, Waddon and Wallington.
