Fire crews have reportedly been dispatched to deal with a collapsed tree which has severely damaged part of a Mottingham petrol station.

The pictured tree has fallen through the roof of a Shell petrol garage forecourt situated in Sidcup Road.

According to Transport for London, members of the London Fire Brigade are attending the scene and are warning drivers of possible delays.

It's understood that no debris has fallen onto the street but TfL have warned that the road may be closed if needed.

An LFB spokeswoman has since confirmed that nobody has been trapped or injured in the incident.
