Southeastern railway are warning commuters of delays as speed restrictions are in place across the network due to the forecasted heavy winds across the South East.

The railway provider have said that due to the potential risk of falling trees as a result of the high winds, theses restrictions will be in place until 6pm today, and are encouraging passengers to check their website before making journeys.

All routes are expected to run today, however a number of alterations have been made to the following routes:

High Speed via Gravesend: London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Faversham services will run non stop between Faversham and Margate, and between Margate and Ramsgate in both directions.

Intermediate stations will be served by trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate.

Paddock Wood Line: London Charing Cross to Ramsgate / Dover Priory services will not run between London Charing Cross and Tonbridge.

Passengers will need to change at Tonbridge and use alternative services between London Charing Cross and Tonbridge.

Sole Street line via Chatham: London Victoria to Ramsgate / Dover Priory services will run non stop between Bromley South and Rochester in both directions.

London bound services between Canterbury East and London Victoria will not stop at Denmark Hill.

Medway Valley Line: Trains will not run between Paddock Wood and Tonbridge.

Passengers should use alternative services between Paddock Wood and Tonbridge.

All other services are planned to run normally, but are likely to be delayed because of the restrictions in place.
