In response Bromley Council was granted a High Court injunction to prevent travellers from staying.
A charity called Friends, Families and Travellers argued that it should be of no surprise to people when gypsy and traveller families occupy private land.

"Everybody needs a place to live."
One woman has told News Shopper travellers have also arrived in Hayes this afternoon.
We have contacted both Bromley Council and the police for the latest information.
Once we hear more we will keep you updated here.
