Two lanes are closed on the M25 clockwise after a crash between two motorbikes and a car.

The crash was reported on the A282 Southbound near the Dartford River Crossing.

Highways England say there are delays of up to 45 minutes and there is now eight miles of traffic on approach.

Traffic feed Inrix report that there is severe congestion on junction 29 at Romford / Basildon and that lanes one and two are closed.

Traffic was briefly held earlier and police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service are both in attendance.

News Shopper has contacted the emergency services for more information. 

A police statement read: "Kent Police was called at 11.49am to a collision reported to involve two motorbikes and a car on the A259 in Old Romney.

"Officers are in attendance alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

"A road closure is being enforced and motorists are advised to expect delays and, where possible, consider using an alternative route."
