A shocking video has emerged of a car engulfed in flames in a Welling street as onlookers were woken by the early morning blaze.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said that the service took 12 calls regarding the car alight as firefighters were being dispatched to Falconwood Parade shortly after midnight on August 1.
One brigade attended and managed to douse the flames shortly before 1am.
Nobody was injured during the ordeal, however according to posts on social media the ground and surrounding cars may have been damaged.
The Met have been contacted for a comment.
