A man who was wanted for sexually assaulting a woman on a bus in the New Cross area has been arrested.
Lewisham Police appealed for information on July 21 for anyone with information on the man's whereabouts.
The assault happened on a 453 bus on May 2 at around 3pm.
The victim was in her early 20's and said that she was sitting on the top deck of the bus in the New Cross area.
Roads and Transport MPS confirmed today that they had arrested an adult male for the assault.
The suspect was identified via CCTV from the bus and he is currently helping police with their enquiries.
