There are severe delays on the M25 this evening because of emergency repair work.
Journeys are being delayed by one hour and 35 minutes because of the repairs clockwise at J31 A282.
There is congestion beyond J28 at Brentwood and routes through Lakeside and Purfleet are struggling.
Lane two of three remain closed because of the emergency work.
Contractors are at the scene.

Three lanes on the M25 near Leatherhead were forced to close earlier after a truck crashed and lost its load across the highway.
The crash happened around 4.30pm between Junctions 8 and 9 on the M25 motorway, near to Leatherhead and Reigate.
Highways England reported the incident on Twitter shortly afterwards, and soon confirmed the attendance of the emergency services at the scene.
By around 5pm, emergency service crews had successfully re-opened lanes 3 and 4 on the stretch of motorway, Highways England said.
