Police say two adults and a group of youths are alleged to have racially abused a group of teenagers who they reportedly spat at and assaulted during an appalling bus journey.
The horrific tirade was unleashed on a bus travelling from New Addington to Hayes on Monday, July 29, evening.
A mum claimed on social media that her daughter and friends were assaulted.
The victims got off the bus at Coney Hall where police were called to just after 6pm.
A police spokesman told News Shopper: "It was reported that a group of teenagers had been racially abused and spat at on a bus travelling from New Addington to Hayes."
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Correction - Police initially said the suspects were "young girls". However, they have since said this was a mistake.
They claim "two adults" and a "group of youths" were involved.
