A person has died after being hit by a train at Dunton Green station this afternoon.
The power on the track has been switched off and emergency services are attending.
British Transport Police say they were called to a casualty on the tracks at Dunton Green station just before 1.30pm.
The person was pronounced dead the scene.
A spokesman said: " Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
"This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Southeastern reported: "Due to a person being hit by a train between Sevenoaks and Orpington trains are currently unable to run between those stations.
"Buses are being ordered to operate between the stations and should be en route shortly. More information when available."
