A Lee man has been charged after Kent Police were called to a robbery at a home in Gravesend.

Baffour Amponsah, 32, of Lee High Road, was arrested after officers went to the reported robbery on Rochester Road at 1am on Thursday, July 11.

He was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and has been remanded in custody.

Three other suspects were arrested in relation to the incident including Alfie Taylor, 25, of Mason Close, Rotherhithe, who was charged with aggravated burglary.

Elizabeth Woods, 27, of Thong Lane, Gravesend, was charged with conspiring to commit burglary, obstructing a police officer, possession of criminal property and producing a class B drug.

After more enquiries 31-year-old David Powell was arrested and then charged with two counts of robbery, receiving stolen goods, possession of criminal property and producing a class B drug.
