Police are concerned for a 26-year-old man from Beckenham who has been missing since Tuesday.
Menelik Mimano finished college in the Kings Cross area at around 6.30pm before he spoke to a family member on the phone and sounded distressed.
He then ran away from his friends and police have said he is a high risk missing person.
A police appeal read: "Enquiries have established that he was sighted in the Southbank area at around 8pm by a friend. He was last seen heading in the direction of Waterloo Train Station.
"Menelik Mimano is a black male, aged 26, of slim build, with short black hair.
"At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a light purple t-shirt and blue shorts.”
"Officers are increasingly concerned for Menelik’s wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000."
