A man who allegedly reversed his car over a police officer after being stopped in Lewisham has been charged.
Nicholas Scantlebury, 35, of Verdant Lane, Catford, was charged today with Section 18 GBH with intent and causing serious harm by dangerous driving.
The police officer, aged in his 20s, suffered serious injuries to his leg and hand after stopping the suspect on July 18. His condition is not life-threatening.
Scantlybury will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court later today.
