The famous home of Crystal Palace was given a fresh lick of paint this week ahead of the new premier league season.
Students from London South East Colleges visited Selhurst Park on one week’s paid work experience.
The 15 students, studying in construction and trade courses, worked hard to ensure the stadium is ready ahead of The Eagles’ first home game of the campaign against Everton next month.
George Smith, 17, from Greenwich, has ambitions of being an electrical installations engineer and said he relished working in Selhurst Park.
He added: "We have all enjoyed the first week and are looking forward to standing back and admiring our work when it’s finished."
