A road in Bromley has been flooded by a burst water main this morning.

The burst water main is reported on a 12-inch main pipe in Masons Hill near the A21 Bromley Common.

An Inrix traffic statement read: "There are currently no restrictions in place, but the road is reportedly flooded with sensors confirming that traffic is struggling to move through the area."

However, a Thames Water spokesman has said that they received no reports of flooding but that approximately 100 properties are experiencing no water or low pressure.

One Twitter user, @Ben2Vcleaning, sent us in a video of the congested traffic and the flooded road.

A Thames Water spokesman has also said: "We’re sorry to customers affected by a burst main.

"Our engineers were quickly on site and are working to fix the problem as soon as possible."
