After 4,000 online votes were counted it has been revealed that Bullers Wood School has won this year’s Bromley Floral Fest gardening competition.

The Bromley Floral Fest is held every year and is organised by Your Bromley.

This year 58 different schools took part and the colourful work of students was on display on Bromley High Street until July 5.

Bullers Wood School scored over 10 per cent of the public’s votes.

The school’s entry was inspired by 19th century designer William Morris.

Inside the school there is an original William Morris painted ceiling in the library and the student's planter featured plants like lavender, mint, Salvia and daisies to represent his work.

Frances Forrest, Bromley BID manager, said: "There was an incredible response to the public vote this year. We were delighted that secondary schools got involved in our project this year and the entry from Bullers Wood School is a deserving winner.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the schools for taking part again."
