A fault with the signalling system at Lewisham means trains running through the station may be delayed or revised.
Staff have now completed repairs, reopening lines, so trains will soon be able to start moving through the area normally.
Regular service is expected to resume by 8pm.
Trains that normally run between Charing Cross and Sevenoaks have resumed running to and from Charing Cross.
Services running between London and Charlton via Lewisham have also resumed running on their normal route.
Trains normally running between Charing Cross and Dover / Ramsgate will be diverted to and from Victoria until 6.10pm.
The 6.41pm Charing Cross to Ramsgate service will be the first of these trains to resume running from Charing Cross.
