An Orpington primary school has urged parents to stay vigilant after a man was reportedly seen taking photos of pupils.
The warning was sparked after police asked Warren Road Primary School to inform parents of the possible threat.
Headteacher, Richard Edmonds, said: "We have been advised by Bromley police that a white male about 50-years-old of stocky build has been taking photographs of children whilst on their way to school.
"This occurred in Ridgeway Crescent Gardens, Orpington. At this stage police do not know if this was an innocent act or intentional and I do not wish for any of you to be gravely concerned, but as ever, vigilance to and from school is essential.
"If you, or any of your pupils or parents see anything untoward then please do call 999 immediately and advise the school."
