A man and a woman remain in custody after a police chase concluded in St Paul's Cray earlier.
Kent Police flagged down a BMW at the Swanley Interchange at around 12.45pm after receiving reports of the car speeding.
A spokesman added: "The vehicle failed to stop and was pursued by a police car. It later came to a stop in the Orpington area and the driver and passenger, a man and a woman, were arrested."
Cray Valley East reported that an arrest was made in Midfield Way after the chase.
News Shopper understands the operation involved officers from both Kent Police and the Met.
