A suspected drug dealer has appeared in court this morning following his arrest in Swanley earlier this week.

Shortly after 3pm on Monday, July 1 a police patrol stopped a Vauxhall Astra on Maidstone Road and officers completed a search of the driver and vehicle.

The officers arrested 18-year-old Namik Hysa in connection with the supply of drugs and also seized a quantity of suspected cocaine along with a driving licence.

Mr Hysa of Farnborough, Hampshire was later charged with possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply, possessing a false identity document and driving without insurance.

He was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on July 3.
