Two Bexley men have been arrested on suspected drugs charges after large quantities of Class A drugs and cash were seized by officers last Saturday.

A 32-year-old man from Welling and a 25-year-old man from Sidcup were cuffed by officers from a number of local units on June 29 for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

The Welling man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property and for driving without insurance.

Both men have since been released pending further investigation by officers as their enquiries continue.
