A police presence in Dartford town centre early Wednesday morning sparked the interest of many in the area and now police have said why they were there.
A Snapchat picture posted on the Dartford Gossip Facebook yesterday with the caption "only in Dartford at 9am" showed a single Kent Police van parked outside a Subway.
When asked why officers were called to the area, a spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 8.09am to a report a man had been robbed in a car park off Instone Road.
"Officers attended the area and following a search of the area arrested two men on suspicion of robbery.
"One arrested man is 37 and from Gravesend and the other is 33 and from Dartford.
"They remain in custody as enquiries continue."
