A community hall used by hundreds of people in Orpington has been forced to shut down for the second time in the last 12 months.
It is not known when Orpington Village Hall will reopen after heavy rainfall and flooding brought down parts of the ceiling last week (June 10).
Over 30 regular classes are based in the hall including NHS baby health services, health and wellbeing meet-ups and social and religious gatherings.
The high street facility also closed involuntarily last July after a fire in flats above the hall, which have not been occupied since.
Nobody was hurt after the fire and families spoke to News Shopper about the devastation of not being able to return home.

Orpington Village Hall is a charitable trust and requires income from events to keep it running.
A spokeswoman for the community centre told News Shopper: "The building is currently undergoing essential repairs and health and safety analysis to try to open in part as soon as possible."
The trust has thanked people for their patience during a "very difficult time" and said updates will be posted on their Facebook page.
The year started more positively for Orpington Village Hall after being named the 'most dementia friendly business' at the Orpies Award Ceremony.
