The Woolwich Ferry is out of action today as angry staff members strike for their penultimate day of action.
Disgruntled employees will strike again on Monday to conclude their 10 days of refusing to work.
Disputes over health and safety, pay and staffing numbers led to a breakdown in communication between workers and employers Marine LTD.
The 31 workers, members of Unite, voted unanimously to strike.
The key issues in the dispute are the refusal to grant a six per cent pay increase for the year starting January 2019, the imposition of new duties, failure to deal with safety concerns and lack of an adequate number of staff to operate the service.

It estimated 2.6 million passengers use the Woolwich Ferry every year.
While the strike continues today, traffic will use alternative river crossings such as the Rotherhithe and Blackwall tunnels, Tower Bridge or London Bridge.
