A woman was left unconscious after being assaulted by a man in Eltham Park this morning.
Officers were called at 12:28am this morning to reports of an assault in Eltham Park South.
The victim, aged in her 30s, entered Eltham Park South when a man assaulted her, knocking her unconscious.
The victim woke-up to find bruising and cuts to her legs and swelling to her forehead.
She left the park and knocked on a nearby house and asked the occupant to call the police.
The victim was taken to a south London hospital, her injuries are not life-threatening.
A crime scene is in place.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
